History of the school
The school was established in 1998 and the first principal was Mr. K.M. Tshabalala. It has 9 educators who were deployed from Falesizwe S.S and Mfundo-Thuto S.S. It was dilapidated, without doors, window panes, no toilets for learners and class rooms’ floors in a very bad state.
The school accommodated ± 400 Learners in 14 class rooms
The first H.O.D’s were Mr. M.I Mzolo and Mr. T.T. Kosi later – on Mr. M.I Mzolo was appointed to be the deputy principal, acting principal and eventually the principal. Mr. Gaba, Mr. M.P Tshele and Ms P.M. Tsele were appointed as H.O.D’s Mr. Nelani as the H.O.D and later on as the deputy principal.
The school was without electricity and electrical equipments. It had a hand-driven photocopier and a type-writer. During night studies or evening classes, learners used paraffin lamps for lighting.
Achievements
The school is well-known about the following good results:
The first pass-rate of 89, 95, obtained by the class of 2000 was the best ever. Due to good results, the school was awarded with the (Audio-Visual, computer laboratory and library.)
As the years progressed, the number of educators increased to 28 admin officers to two general cleaners’ learners to ± 700

Our school has 41 Computers in the COMPUTER LIBORATORY, one Computer & TV set in the audio-visual, 4 Computers for administration purpose.
